Trending design office ideas in Oakland

The design of the office has a major effect on the productivity and thoughts of the employees. Contrary to popular belief, having a great office design is not really that difficult. You just need a good general contractor and a bit of creativity to get the desired results. To make things easier for you, we would only recommend you search for a reputed contractor and then simply pick a design from the trending office designs mentioned below.

1. Focus on Ergonomics

It is very difficult for the employees to focus on the job when their backs are killing them because of the improperly adjusted desk chair or computer screen. When designing the office, make sure that you lay a major emphasis on the height of the desk chairs, computer monitors, and desks. Make sure that the employees can easily access everything that they might need without any strain on their muscles.

2. Eliminate the Clutter

Design the office in such a way that there are minimum clutter and maximum space available for the employees. Make sure that the wires from computers, scanners, printers, etc. are neatly hidden and that there is adequate space for the employees to store their files, documents, and stuff. Minimum clutter will not only improve the productivity of the employees but will also help in saving a lot of time. Moreover, it will also enhance the appearance of the office.

3. Choose Color Carefully

Color too should be selected carefully as it directly affects the productivity of the employees and the appearance of the office. Blue is known to stimulate the mind, yellow helps in inspiring creativity, and green helps in creating a smooth balance. Make sure that the accents and other office accessories also match the interiors of the office, making it a space where the employees would love to work.

4. Make Way for Light

Natural light is known to increase the energy, creativity, and productivity of employees. While it might not always be possible to knock out the walls to increase the natural light in the office, try to have most of the desks close to the windows. If the direct natural lighting is not possible, you can also make arrangements to have indirect light, which is the light that bounces from the wall or ceiling.

5. Open Plans

While open office plans are currently in trend, a recent study has suggested that the open-plan arrangement is not very satisfying for the employees as they do not get a lot of security while working. If the open plan is what you want, make sure that the office has an adequate number of conference rooms and corners for the employees.
These design ideas are currently trending in Oakland and many parts of the world. If you are looking to construct a new office or want to remodel the existing office in Oakland, use the above-mentioned ideas in the best possible way and you are sure to provide your employees with a productive working environment.
